K] Job Poster’s Perspective
August 23, 2007
The job poster has this feature of looking at the applicant’s % match for the job and can pull up their resume. So this avoids the irritation and frustration of flooding inboxes. Also they can visually look at the best fit first, interview them and them move in. In the traditional way, its hard to filter out applications and resumes as its time consuming and one has to go through all of that…then do the filtering process and then the actual interviewing starts.
In the questionaire type posting the job poster gets the opportunity to get the responses of the candidates and their contact details. If the candidate’s response is right then employee/poster can contact the candidate. This pre-screening is much better and saves a lot of time compared to calling each of the candidates and performing a phone screen.
The Job posters can delete the posts if they feels the position is already filled up
